I just finished reading Safe At Home. I like this book because Jumper didn’t like being in Harlem, or playing baseball. When he meets his wise coach, baseball isnt that bad. He gave it a chance and didn’t quit for his father.

Glad to see you’re reading a good book. Good for you Tyneesha. I love books that have ghosts in them! Have you ever read the Bailey City School Kids? It’s about four kids who think their teacher is a vampire. If you stop by my room, I’ll lend it to you! -Ms. L.

I just finished reading Room One. This story was really a mystery. Ted was a good detective. He found out where they went when they left. They left because 5 highschool students were caught on the farm.

Glad to see that people are back on the blog. Keep reading and working on the summer reading packet. Remember that the questions are due the first day you come back to school. I don’t want any of you to get a detention. Which of the summer reading books have you liked the best?
Mrs. McDaniel, Ms. Lundblad, and I will do something special for the summer bloggers!

Thanks for answering my questions about why he got mad. Now can you take my challenge and make a connection? You can do it for The Fancy Cooker of The Street Cat. How are you like one of the characters? (Hope you are enjoying reading! Hope you are having a good summer!) Mrs. Hirschfeld

Ms.Hirschfeld. Im sorry i havent been on for like 2 weeks. I think he told everybody to do their homework because he realized that what he did was wrong. He thought that if he did excellent in school that he didnt have to waste so much time doing homework.

    • MHirschfeld@CA 6:56 am on July 7, 2009 Permalink

Thanks for answering my question from a while back. Do you think he also thought there might be an advantage to doing homework? What are the positive reasons for doing homework? Can you take my connections challenge and make a text-to-self connection. You’ll be the first one to take the challenge.

    Tags: Make a Connection Challenge

New challenge! This one doesn’t have a page requirement. Take any book you are reading and make a text-to-self connection. How are you like one of the characters? Have you ever been in an event that is similar to an event in the book? Post your text-to-self connection and the title of the book for all to see.
